Hello
there all my fellow planner addicts! I wanted to show you some fun things you
can do with the awesome stamp sets from Mommy Lhey!
July is always a busy month for
me! My daughter celebrates her 7th birthday this month and as
wedding photographer, July is always a busy wedding month. Lots to do and lots of things to plan and
stay organized with.
That’s what I love about Mommy
Lhey’s stamps…it seems like there is a stamp for everything to track and keep
organized in your planner. And the best
part is that they are all so CUTE!!
I used my stamps this
week to prepare and layout my week in my Erin Condren Life Planner, so let’s
check it out!
Whenever I preplan
for the upcoming weeks I use the square sticky notes that fit perfectly in the
Erin Condren planner boxes. It’s
convenient because I know what’s coming up ahead before I decorate for the
week.
This week I wanted a
fun summer vacation theme so I focused my colors on the Mommy Lhey Take Me To
Hawaii Stamp Set.
I chose to work with
bright green and pink colors and gray this week. A quick tip I love to use when I want a
thinner washi tape strip in my planner is to use my Fiskars paper trimmer to
cut it in half. It works perfectly and
makes it easy when you don’t have a lot of thin washi tape designs to choose
from.
When my washi tape
was in and where I want them I then used the big aloha stamp from the set and
used both pink and green ink to make an ombre effect.
Such a pretty result!
From there I wanted
to add a lit bit of color to the opposite side of the weekly layout so I used
an ink dauber with some of the pink and green ink. It added a little colored shadow effect and
then I stamped over it with one of my favorite Mommy Lhey check box stamps.
I then went around
and used more stamps to organize my week.
I’m so happy with the result!
